Clean /tidy / comfortable / most staff extreemly helpfull
Returning to hotel at 9pm on Sat - after 20 minutes effort I could not get anywhere near the bar due to wedding (what about a residents bar ???)I rang room service (2 numbers) for over half an hour ( I'm not exagerating) but could get no reponce from reception or rs. I left a note on the reception desk venting my anoyance that I could find no staff/get a drink or food via the bar or room service. - the note had 'vanished' at our morning check outn the morning - the reception staff was not interested in my anger/comments [we were very busy !! was all I got] We will definately not recommend the hotel. Weekday breakfast was excellent weekend buffet breakfast was less than acceptable. [Motorway food]

Everything about this well run family hotel was really good. I ate at a very comfy restaurant for dinner. The staff were fairly friendly and the setting was exceptionally nice. It was a picturesque area, a holiday base for me....

Room very spacious and relaxing. Hotel location in the country with bird's chirping welcoming you. Hotel restaurant really very good - best rack of lamb I ever had.
Card keys could indicate which way it needs to go. I mostly got the door to open on the fourth attempt (there are only four possible combinations)

The room was very spacious with a large en suite bathroom. The food was of a high standard and the hotel was very clean. I also liked the setting of the hotel with it's large gardens

First Class, especially the food
No complaints with the hotel whatsoever, the only complaint that I had was that Booked.net had failed to book my room and the hotel knew nothing, just lucky that they had a room available

I am coeliac and the waitress at dinner and chef were very accomodating. Also the waitress at breakfast. I did appreciate this.
My room was quite a distance from the reception. I had problems with the keycard so it was a long trek!! I also found the WIfi/Broadband instruction sheet confusing and so did not get access. I phone reception a couple of times for help but there was no answer

Lovely room, very spacious and well furnished. Comfy bed, nice deep bath with aqualisa shower. Breakfast choices were great, and the staff are super nice and professional.
the room was a bit noisy at times, and the heating could've been better.

Service in relation to reception, bar and restaurant was very efficient. No long waits.
The car park, although very spacious and with ample parking, was very dirty with empty beer cans and spirit bottles scattered around. The smoking shelter outside was not cleaned on a regular basis. Needs a little attention. When checkin in, the receptionist gave me the wrong rate and did not have booking rate from Booked.net. Possible communication breakdown between the two parties. This was resolved later and was given the rate I booked with.

great access to very nice landmarks and park views
I stayed here recently and was really impressed by the quick access to The Pilgrims Fathers Stone, just about 4 km away, and the beautiful Immingham Museum and Heritage, slightly farther at 4.5 km. Both are perfect for enjoying a weekend stroll and discovering the local history.

Restaurant menu mainly based on offers for couples. I didnt feel that I was being catered for as a lone business traveller.
